Eligibility Criteria
- Sixteen years of schooling or 4 years’ education (124-130 credit Hours) after HSSC/FSc/ in second division in the relevant subject or at least 2.50 CGPA from a recognized University as per HEC rules for MS admission and for PhD admission MS with CGPA> 3.0 in the relevant subject (GAT/Subject GRE passed).
- A candidate with Masters (foreign) degree shall be required to obtain equivalence certificate from HEC, stating his/her eligibility for admission into Ph. D program.
- One-page research proposal must be accompanied with application form.
Note: Government employees must provide NOC from concerned department.

Last Date for submission of admission forms September 26, 2019
NTS type Entry test for MS Students shall be held on: September 29, 2019
Display of list of successful students: October 1, 2019
Fee submission: October 2, to October 4, 2019
Classes will be started: October 5, 2019
- Admission Form/Prospectus is available in Student Affairs Office. Karakoram International University Gilgit, Main Campus on working days (Monday to Friday During 09:00 am to 04:00 pm) on payment of Rs. 1000/- through bank draft/challan.
- Admission Form can be downloaded from here. In such case, applicants need to attach bank draft of Rs.1000/- in the name of Treasurer KIU Gilgit-Baltistan.
Application form can also be obtained from the admission office KIU Main Campus or Download from here.
No application will be received after due date.
No admission form will be received after last date.
Candidates are advised to keep checking the KIU website for the date of interview/Updates.
No separate call letters will be issued.
