Students interested to take admission in BS Mining Engineering at Karakoram International University are informed that the Entrance Test will be conducted by the University at KIU Main Campus as per the following schedule:

ETEA/UET’s Entrance test results will also be considered. However, the students who have taken the ETEA/UET’s Entrance Test may also appear in KIU Engineering Entrance Test.

Number of Seats:

Students having GB Domicile: 32

Students from Out of GB: 08

Eligibility Criteria:

• F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering) or DAE (Mining Engineering) with at least 60 % marks
• Admission of DAE/B.Tech candidates shall be as per PEC approved quota

Instructions:

• Admission /Test form is available in the Student Affairs Office. Karakoram International University Gilgit, on working days (Monday to Friday During 08:00 am to 04:00 pm) on payment of Rs.1000,  through bank draft/challan

• Admission Form/ Test form can be downloaded from here. In such case, the applicant needs to attach a bank draft of Rs.1000/- to be deposited in KIU's HBL Bank Account #: 0001077900335901
• No admission form will be received after the last date.
• The Candidates are advised to keep on checking the KIU website for the date of interview/updates.
